Who may use ProK9 Market

You must be 18 or older. Sellers must be organizations that own or are authorized to sell the dogs they list, and must comply with every animal-sale law in their jurisdiction and the buyer's.

Sales and funds

When you buy through the platform, your payment is held until the dog is delivered and you confirm acceptance, or the acceptance window passes. Fees are shown before you pay.

Deposits

A deposit is not refundable. It is what reserves a particular dog or a particular puppy for you: from the moment you pay it, the seller stops offering that animal to anyone else, and on a litter they may be holding it for months before it is old enough to go home. If you change your mind, the deposit is not returned.

A seller may choose to return a deposit anyway — a litter that does not take, a dog that turns out not to suit you, a change in your circumstances they are willing to absorb. That is theirs to decide and not something you can require. Where a seller does return one, ProK9 Market keeps a handling fee out of it for processing the reversal; the amount is shown to the seller before they confirm, and the rest reaches you by the same means you paid.

None of this limits rights you have under the law of your state, including where an animal is not as the seller described it. If a dog is delivered and is not what was agreed, raise it through the order rather than treating it as a change of mind: the balance of your money is still held and the dispute process applies.

Records

When a dog is sold through the platform, its records transfer to the buyer. The seller keeps a read-only copy.

Content

You own what you post. You grant ProK9 Market a license to display it. We may remove content that breaks these terms.

Photographs and video you upload

You keep ownership of every photograph and video you upload. Nothing here transfers ownership, and you remain free to use, sell or license your own material however you wish, including on other sites.

By uploading, you grant ProK9 Market a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, resize, crop, adapt and publicly display that material for the purposes of operating, promoting and advertising ProK9 Market and the dogs and organizations listed on it. That includes use on this site, in printed and digital advertising, and on social media and other third-party platforms, where the platform's own terms may also apply to anything posted there. We may credit you or your organization, but we are not obliged to.

You confirm that you own the material or have written permission to grant this license; that any person recognisable in it has consented to its commercial use; and that using it will not infringe anyone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights. If you used a professional photographer, you are responsible for having the rights they granted you.

This license continues for material we have already published or used in advertising, because advertising cannot always be recalled once distributed. You may ask us to stop using a photograph in new advertising at any time by writing to us, and we will do so within a reasonable period and will not start new campaigns with it. Removing a listing, or closing your account, ends our right to begin new uses but does not require us to withdraw material already in circulation.
